STTS 3 processor available
13:45, 20 Oct 1999 UTC | Simon St.Laurent

Daniel Glazman of Electricité de France announced the availability of an Simple Tree Transformation Sheets 3 (STTS3) processor. The Java-based processor is in beta, but the implementation should remain free. (Registration is required.)

STTS3 is a transformation language that uses a Cascading Style Sheets-like grammar. STTS3 does not support cascading through multiple sheets, but uses a CSS selector-and-rule model to describe document transformations. (It also supplies a few additional selectors.) Rules are constructed using declarations in a similar format to CSS declarations but with their own vocabulary.

STTS3 is a W3C Note, not a Working Draft or Recommendation.
