XSL-FO
FOP 0.11.0 released
07:06, 11 Oct 1999 UTC | Edd Dumbill

James Tauber has released another development version of FOP, his XSL formatter, which produces PDF files from XSL FO documents.

This release contains significant changes. In particular it has namespace support, rather than the previous hard-coded support for the "fo:" prefix. The full release announcement was posted to the XML-dev mailing list.

The release follows recent lively debate on the XSL-list mailing list between Tauber, Sebastian Rahtz and Paul Tchistopolskii on the XSL specification and the requirements for serious typesetting work.
