Last Call for XHTML 1.1 Modularization Drafts
15:57, 6 Jan 2000 UTC | Simon St.Laurent

The W3C has released Last Call working drafts of XHTML 1.1 - Module- based XHTML, Modularization of XHTML, and Building XHTML Modules. The last call period ends 1 February 2000.

XHTML 1.1 - Module- based XHTML has undergone some significant changes. It now includes a convenient i nformative Appendix A, Changes from XHTML 1.0 that covers the basic changes HTML/XHTML developers will need to know immediately.

Similarly, Modularization of XHTML now contains additional appendices describing Schema and DTD module implementations.

Building XHTML Modules has changed much less than the other two, although it now includes a section on Creating a DTD from whole cloth, using XHTML modularization to create completely new modules.
