W3C Schema test collection available
08:40, 12 Sep 2001 UTC | Edd Dumbill

Henry Thompson has announced the first public release of the W3C XML Schema Test Collection, enabled substantially by a donation of tests from Microsoft.

The collection include tests with both positive and negative expected outcomes, as well as tabulated outcomes for the XSV processor. Thompson writes that he hopes to include outcomes for other publically available W3C XML Schema processors.

Concluding, Thompson notes that NIST (who have contributed greatly to the XML 1.0 conformance work) have also contributed tests, which will be made available shortly. He also invited contributions from others.
