XMLMind XML Editor (XXE) is an XML 1.0 editor, featuring a CSS2-styled word processor style editing interface.

XXE is written in Java, and runs on any platform with the Java run-time. The editor is available currently as "milestone 1", a beta release. Features include:

  • Substantial subset of CSS2 supported
  • Treeview and styled editing modes
  • Use with or without DTD
  • Invalid document repair
  • Multilevel undo/redo

XMLMind's intention is to create two editions of the software, a free version and a more fully-featured "professional edition," which they will create after several more milestone releases.
