An open source library for working with XML, XPath and XSLT, dom4j 1.0 adds support for XML Schema data types.

The data types support comes courtesy of Kohsuke Kawaguchi's multi-schema validator library. Other additions include "improved support for the Jaxen XPath engine", and "improved SAX support making it easier to work with SAX EntityResolvers, XMLFilters and features and properties."
