Peter Flynn announced a preview release of version 2.0 of Frequently Asked Questions about the Extensible Markup Language.

Version 2.0 represents a substantial change to the FAQ, including a shift in the underlying DTD from DocBook to QAML, revisions and rewritings of many of the questions and answers, and updates to deal with many of the newer specifications.

Flynn would like to hear feedback regarding the FAQ:

"Please report all errors and problems to me by email. By all means also post queries to the newsgroups and mailing lists, but please copy them to me also if you want them to be actioned."

He hopes Version 2.0 will be complete around the end of June 2001.
