Canonical XML processor
12:00, 1 May 2001 UTC | Edd Dumbill

ElCel Technology have announced a processor for creating Canonical XML.

The C++-based tool implements the W3C's canonicalization algorithm, which has applications in the creation of digital signatures. ElCel notes additional applications including converting XML documents to be standalone, testing XML processor conformance, and pre-processing complex XML for tools that don't support full XML 1.0.

The processor can be downloaded from the ElCel web site.

ElCel have also released a C++-based XML 1.0 validator tool, utilizing their XML C++ toolkit.
