CC/PP Structures and Vocabularies reaches Last Call
13:26, 16 Mar 2001 UTC | Simon St.Laurent

Johan Hjelm announced a Last Call Working Draft of Composite Capability/Preference Profiles (CC/PP): Structure and Vocabularies.

CC/PP allows developers to create profiles using RDF. These are descriptions "of device capabilities and user preferences that can be used to guide the adaptation of content presented to that device." In announcing it, Hjelm states that:

"The working group feels that we have now progressed this specification as far as we can, that it is stable, workable and implementable, and that it is ready to be used."

This draft, the second since the combination of previous structure and vocabulary drafts, makes only minor changes to its predecessor.
