Mailing list for XML database discussion

Kimbro Staken of the XML:DB XML database initiative has announced the opening of the xmldb mailing list to discussion of "all items of general interest to the XML database community". The XML:DB projects page offers this description of the list:

The list is a vendor neutral open forum and discussion of any topic related to XML database technology and standards is acceptable and encouraged.

To join the list, e-mail <xmldb-request@xmldb.org> with subscribe in the body of the message.

The group also hosts the recently announced mailing list xapi-dev, intended for specific technical discussions related to collective development of a specification for an Application Programming Interface (API) to XML databases. Subscribe to that list by e-mailing <xapi-dev-request@xmldb.org> with subscribe in the body of the message.
