Steve White has announced an update to Virtual Mechanics' WEB ENGINE, a drag and drop editor for creating content in DHTML and SVG.
The editor's features include support for vector geometry, shading, RTF to HTML/SVG conversion, visual table editor, animation, behaviors.
White writes that the new version (v2b08) includes more extensive documentation and context sensitive help, as well as updates to vector drawing features, the text editor and path animation and behaviors.
WEB ENGINE requires Microsoft Windows and MSIE 4.0 or Netscape Navigator 3 or later, as well as the Adobe SVG viewer. It can be downloaded from the VirtualMechanics web site.
Have tried this. Great tool, don't know any other that can create Flash type animation in DHTML. Looking forward to the final release.
