dbXML reaches 0.3
05:34, 8 Nov 2000 UTC | Simon St.Laurent

The dbXML Group announced the release of version 0.3 of dbXML Core Edition, adding a compressed DOM, basic indexing, experimental XPath support, and more.

The dbXML Core Edition - which will eventually be supplemented with the payware dbXML Enterprise Edition - is an open-source (LGPL) Java library which manages collections of XML documents. Source code is available in both a download from the primary dbXML Core Edition page and through CVS at the project's SourceForge site.

The new version includes more examples, including some SOAP examples, more documentation, command line administration tools, and an XML Schema compiler.
