Norm Walsh announced that "the fire is out and the lists are usable," marking the end of months of delays and outages on the XML-DEV mailing list.

At the close of several weeks of repairs and rebuilding, "those of you who've never done list management or emergency sysadmin work can only imagine how happy I am to report that I'm finished."

The XML-DEV archives are also functioning now, going all the way back to the first message.
