Query Language Requirements
21:31, 31 Jan 2000 UTC | Simon St.Laurent

The W3C has published a working draft of XML Query Requirements, addressing a need developers have been discussing since XML appeared.

The requirements are the work of the XML Query Working Group, established in September 1999, and build on the work of the December 1998 W3C Query Languages Workshop.

The requirements address a data model, functionality, and the relationship of XML Query Language to other W3C activities.

Comments on the requirements should be sent to www-xml-query-comments@w3.org. (Public archives are available.)
