Media Design in-Progress have announced Interaction, an XML/XSLT-powered community-oriented web application server for the Mac platform.

The product makes extensive use of W3C XML technologies, including an integrated native XML database, server-side XSLT processing, and a CSS2 designer/emulator.

The product is aimed at "hosting personalized websites, portals, on-line communities and virtual classrooms."

Interaction is a commercial product, retailing at US$795, with a personal use license available for US$289.
