The RELAX NG Technical Committee has released a tutorial, formal semantics, a RELAX NG schema for RELAX NG , and an issues list.

While the tutorial explains RELAX NG to humans, the formal semantics are mathematical. The formal semantics establish foundations for calculating validity using the structures defined by RELAX NG.

The tutorial includes comparisons to both RELAX and TREX to help developers making the transition.

The issues list contains 34 issues, all but 8 of which include resolutions. Remaining issues which look especially difficult include the use of qualified names as attribute values within RELAX NG, scopes for keys and key references, and the provision of context for datatype libraries.
