Apache Xerces Workshop
11:05, 22 May 2001 UTC | Edd Dumbill

IBM will be hosting a day-long workshop on the Apache Xerces2 XML parser in Cupertino, the week following Sun's JavaOne conference.

The goal of the workshop is to explain the design and implementation of Xerces2, as well as resolve design issues and discuss the future of the project. Announcing the workshop, Andy Clark noted:

The workshop is open to all open-source developers that are interested in contributing to the Xerces2 project in the areas of implementation, samples, build/test, documentation, and/or administration. However, space is limited to 30 people so please be sure that 1) you are able to attend on the specified day, and 2) that you are *really* serious about helping with the project before signing up for workshop.

Those wishing to attend should respond to Clark directly at andyc@apache.org.
