Sean McGrath announced the release of XPipe 0.2, an "approach to manageable, scaleable, robust XML processing based on the assembly line principle", on SourceForge.

XPipe, aimed "toward the industrialization of XML processing", builds on years of similar work, from SGML consulting to XBeans and SAX filters.

The current focus is hammering out the XComponent model at the foundation, currently defined in RELAX NG.
