SOAP over BEEP
08:50, 22 Jun 2001 UTC | Edd Dumbill

Eamon O'Tuathail and Marshall Rose have written an Internet-Draft describing a binding of SOAP 1.1 to the Blocks Extensible Exchange Protocol Core (BEEP, RFC3080).

A proof of the SOAP authors' claims that SOAP is usable separate from HTTP, the draft describes one-way, request-response and request-N-reponses messaging patterns using the SOAP envelope with BEEP.

Discussion of the draft will take place on the BEEP WG list (archives).
