There have been various interesting discussion threads on the www-rdf-interest mailing list.

New SiRPAC bits

Sirgey Melnick announced a new and improved version of SiRPAC. This version has many bug fixes and includes support for streaming and a sample interface to the gargantuan rdf dumps of the Mozilla Open Directory Project.

RDF API

Dan Brickley provided on a overview of RDF API approaches in a summary posting.

Dan Connolly musings

Dan Connolly started several thought provoking threads. The first was on the topic of legal citations and was touched off by the posting of the Microsoft ruling online.

The second thread was related to the first and a followon to a response by Eric Hellman of Openly Informatics, Inc.. This thread discussed the Scholarly Link Specification Framework (SLinkS) and its use of RDF Schema .

The third thread was about the use of RDF for Calendar sharing and synchronization. Dan Brickley responded with some discussion of issues relating to update of composite graphs. Chris Waterson of the Mozilla Project responded with a description of RDF composite data source update in Mozilla.

SiLRI vs. MetaLog
